permissions.

1. Is fighting/attacking this character allowed? Given my permission, absolutely! It's not like he isn't a huge smartass or anything... he likes to use his wiles to get back at bullies all the time so ymmv.

2. Is injury or character death allowed? What limits, if any, are there to injury? You know, this is something we'll have to discuss because the likelihood of it being dependent on IC interaction and game plot is high. I'm not against it but would like it brought to my attention with a little forewarning if you want to go this route so we can discuss what I am or am not comfortable within the particular circumstances of what we're playing out.

3. Is the use of telepathy/mind reading allowed on this character? Sure! Just leave me an OOC comment or headline that it's what you intend to do and I'll oblige by making what you can or cannot get out of Dustin's head by italicizing the text in internal dialogue. ;)

4. In general, what would a telepath/empath notice? He's intelligent, highly energized, but he's been through hell and back and has some deeply rooted insecurities because of his upbringing. His heart and his intentions are pure, even if he doesn't outwardly show or state that.

5. Is fourth walling allowed? If yes, what restrictions are there? I'd prefer that it wasn't. If your character does claim to know him he'll either assume that the person is crazy or he might've forgotten their interaction which is less likely.

6. Are there any triggering subjects that you would like to avoid IC or OOC? Umm... no, I'm pretty good with most content as long as I get some warning beforehand and I don't just wind up getting smacked in the face with something.

7. Any warnings others should know about this character?
For people with issues on triggers regarding the teeth and joints, he has a condition called cleidocranial dysplasia which has caused his teeth to not be present or abnormally small, specifically in relation to his front teeth. While he grows into his teeth some subject-matter regarding this disease will obviously be present.

D'Artagnan the demo-dog he unwittingly adopts did eat his pet cat Mews. Unfortunate animal death that leads to him grouping with Steve in the midst of season two. His relationship with Dart, however, was a saving grace but on the subject matter of animals eating other animals, it is a part of his character history and something he accepted and rationalized as any good scientist would or could. That's where he did draw the line with his nougat gobbling companion. One domestic pet does not exchange for another.
