• so, Dustin does not have amnesia but that won't stop him from pretending he does.
• once he realizes his friends/family have been brainwashed he's literally going to take script shit from Annie, Newsies, and etc and piece together a story.
• he's from a huge working-class family, and they won a trip on the boat.
• and so then the meddling begins, and Dustin will absolutely be using this as an excuse to scope people and places out.
